The African Factor™

Privacy notice

Last updated 21 October 2026

This notice explains how The African Factor™ handles information, and what happens when you use theafricanfactor.co. Questions: hello@theafricanfactor.co.

The Readiness Assessment

Your answers are saved only in your own browser, on your own device, so that a refresh does not lose them. They are never sent to us, and we cannot see them. You can erase them with “Start over” or by clearing your browser data.

Your result page has a share link. The six dimension scores are written into the link itself, after the # sign, which browsers do not send to any server. Anyone you give the link to can see those six scores.

If you ask for your results by email

On the results page you can ask us to email your results. Only then do we collect anything: the email address you type, your first name if you give it, your profile name, your lowest-scoring dimension and the link to your result. We send these to Kit, our email provider, which emails you your results and a short series of follow-up emails about the Legacy Framework. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Your individual answers are never sent.

Purchases

Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your name, email address and what you bought; we never see or store your card details. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to the payment itself. When you buy, we also pass your email address to Kit, our email provider, and mark you as a buyer so you stop receiving sales emails about the Legacy Framework. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to run and secure the service.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We do not currently run analytics. If we add visit counting, it will be cookieless and record only page and step counts, never your answers, and this notice will say so.

What we never do

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from any email with one click. To see, correct or delete the email information we hold, write to hello@theafricanfactor.co and we will act on it within 30 days.
